Photography is a passion, one that I’ve had for so long that I didn’t even realize what it was. I used to be a magazine addict when I was younger and would always just look at the photos, never reading much of anything. And if I was at someone’s house, I always wanted to see people’s photo albums. I still do, actually.
When you meet me, you’ll see I have a camera tattoo on my arm. It’s about this passion of mine, following my heart (taking the leap to do this, AND just in general, as ya know, a life rule), and it’s also a little bit more. My grandfather was a photography buff himself, and I believe I got it from him, no doubt. I now own a Brownie camera that belonged to him, and that is why I got that specific camera. And just as this is special to me, I believe photographs are so much than that. Most things come and go, they break, go out of style, a new updated and improved version comes along, but photographs? Those are forever. What could be more important than preserving your life, whether it’s marriage, love, your children, your family or a special time in your life? What value can you truly place on that?
I want your experience with me to be fun and I want you to be happy. No, not just happy with the experience, but I want you to LOVE your photographs and for these to be something that you can look back on years down the road and still love just as much. Please take a look at my galleries and blog and make sure you love my style. In order for this to be successful, and everyone happy, we gotta be on the same page. I’d describe my style as mostly modern, hip, sometimes a bit vintage, fun, romantic, soulful and beautiful. I am always trying to see the beauty in life and in everyone and really strive to capture that in everyone I photograph. So if that all sounds great to you, let’s get started!!

Sessions are laid back and fun. They are done on location and can be done at a park, downtown areas, out in a field, your home, you name it, using available light. I do a little bit of posing and directing, but it’s not going to be stiff and formal by any means! I try to get a lot of interactions going on, either with other family members or by interacting with your child or baby or you and your SO (and usually being a total dork and goofball). The main goal is to relax and have fun with it! That’s when we will be able to capture some really great stuff!
