I love my job. And getting to take photos on a hockey ring? Doesn’t suck.
Here’s a little teaser from Sierra and Darrell’s engagement session yesterday.
So here it is, the last post from Austin. These are just a few photos I took of Mandy and her 2 beautiful, incredibly sweet children while we were out that afternoon. The 1st one was taken during Ethne & I hooping.
Before I post them, I also wanted to post about something else. I learned yesterday of the death of a guy I only met and hung out with once but I’ve been pretty affected by it. It’s yet another reminder that we are not guaranteed the next day and to make every day matter. Or at least to try my hardest. And it’s also another reminder that photos matter. I don’t care if it’s a snapshot or what..but they matter. I linked to an article recently over on the FB page, and it’s a story about a client..really, you should just go read it and grab yourself a tissue. Portraits are more than just paper

So I was just going to do one more post, but there will still be 1 more. I decided the hula hooping one deserved one by itself!
Before we went out that afternoon, Ethne, my friend’s daughter, and I went outside to do some hula hooping. And if you didn’t know I hula hooped, now you do! I never thought I’d be a hula hooper, but after trying it, I fell in love. I first started back in July of 2010 and quit when it got cold since I had no space to hoop in. Anyway, I started it back up and haven’t quit, though I have been neglecting it lately. I actually got outside today since it was so pretty and oh what a difference it made!
